Why add a 1 oz. Silver Buffalo Bar to your stack?
This bar is struck out of 1 oz. of .999 fine silver and is an ideal way for silver stackers to add to their collection. As it is not a legal tender coin, and is struck with a simple design, it is a great way to purchase silver to add to your stack. Despite the design being simple however, the look and feel of this classic American design gives this silver bar great appeal!
What is the design on this silver bar?
The design on this silver bar is a copy of one of the best known designs on classic American coinage. The buffalo nickel, designed by James Earle Fraser, showed an image of an Native American man on the obverse, and a buffalo on the reverse. Both of these images were skillfully copied and used to strike this 1 oz. silver bar with true American designs. To finalize the patriotic them, the inscription “Liberty” is seen arcing above the Indian Head.
